What is Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is a surgery to reshape the nose. Popularly known as the ‘NOSE JOB”. The ideal nose is a gracefully “blended” collection of gentle CURVES & ROLLS. Rhinoplasty aims at achieving a natural and aesthetic harmony between the nose and the other facial features like eyes, cheeks, lips and chin.

What gives the nose its shape?

The shape of the nose on the outside is due to the shape of bone and cartilage and the overlying skin.

The top of the nose is made of bone shaped like a roof, which is hard. The middle and tip of the nose are made of cartilage which is softer.

The skin varies in thickness from person to person, and also affects the shape.

What are the reasons for getting a Rhinoplasty?
